My birthday was a while ago now but I have been incredibly busy with work so I will catch you up now.

I got many things for my birthday that I am very grateful for.

From my parents I got the blue, black and orange satchel-looking bag, that I listed in December.

Nanny Pat - you were a beautiful wonderful woman, who put everyone else's needs in front of her own. She always had a smile on her face and was always warm and welcoming. The perfumes that she wore smelt gorgeous and always reflected her happy personality. Her laugh was contagious and spread with anyone she was with. I loved making her laugh and showing off my new clothes with her. Her food that she made for all of us was outstanding and certain dishes will always remind me of her. I loved my Nanny so much and I will miss her every day for as long as I live, not a day goes by where I don't think of her and I still don't believe that it has happened. Everything is different now and I hope that Nanny knew how much I loved and respected her.

NEARLY MY BDAY

It's nearly my Birthday! So soon after Christmas, on the 13th! I've ordered a few things from River Island in their sale and am also after a bag but can't decide out of these;

My favourites are 1 & 4 but hmmmm, decisions decisions.

This is Alexa Chung's book 'IT'. It's pretty much doodles and photographs and little life lessons, and it's great, would definitely recommend it! Scooby also was happy with it! Here are a few of my favourite snippets of the book.

I seem to be obsessed with socks at the moment. I asked for a lot for Christmas. I just feel that they add a certain flair when they are worn to be seen. Such as with brogue-like shoes, high heels, or ankle boots. Plus it feels nice when you wear nice underwear/socks.

My favourite drink at the moment is Southern Comfort and Lemonade. There's just something about it! Also being a student I thought a good idea would be to actually have some branded spirit rather than Aldi's own brands aha!

This top, I feel, is casual yet (if worn in the right context) can be dressed up. It's so simple and I love it!

I really needed a new rucksack. I was using this old Roxy rucksack which was bright orange and pink, which I loved when I bought it, about 5 years ago and I realised it just did not go with anything. Sounds so fussy, I just felt a bit like a kid with it aha! Anyway this is my new denim one.

My main gift was an iPod Nano 3rd Generation Black. I asked for this purely because I think it's the nicest looking iPod. There's no point me having a iPod Touch when I have an iPhone and I much prefer the look of this one. However, they don't sell them any more so my parents bought me a 2nd hand one which I wanted. Except the previous owner still had her music and photos. She was very pretty, if you ever read this, THANKS DEBBIE SMITH!
